February 8th

1st time on a sled alone with 3, and then 4 dogs. 12 miles, 36 degrees

Don’t lean to the side too much. You might tip over.

  1. Always hold on to the handle bar

  2. Always have hand warmers or warmer gloves/mittens

  3. Use your drag mat more than expected

  4. Always look ahead when you are running dogs

  5. Watch for moose, other dog teams, wolves, lynx, snow machines
